Buttery Prik'd Shrimp

For the seafood lover out there. This recipe is very easy, fast, and uses ingredients most already have lying around the kitchen. The juiciness of the shrimp combined with the spicy, butteriness of this dish nothing short of mouthwatering. It makes for a great part of your meal prepped lunch or light dinner.

Buttery Prik'd Shrimp

Serves 2-4


  • 2 Tbsp butter

  • 2 Tbsp Nam Prik Chili Sauce

  • 3 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 lb shrimp

  • 1 cup grape tomatoes

  • 1 Tbsp minced fresh mint

  • 1 Tbsp minced fresh basil 

Shrimp over rice with nam prik


  1. Melt butter in frying pan over medium-high heat.

  2. Saute minced garlic in butter until golden brown, then add shrimp, tomatoes, and Nam Prik Chili Sauce.
  3. Right before shrimps are done, add mint and basil and cook until wilted.
  4. Serve with rice.


 **If you like tomatoes to be soft and completely cooked, saute them until just tender in butter before adding the garlic in Step 2.
